This violin bow is made from pernambuco that is quite dense and a beautiful red color. The frog is made of ebony, mounted in sterling silver with a Parisian eye. The button is made in three parts with silver and ebony. The grip is made of lizard in two parts embellished with silver wire. This bow was made in July of 2008.

This bow is fairly stiff, has a crisp spicatto and even legato. The sound that it pulls out is well-focused, rich, and complex with good volume.
